Food education activities
Storyteller
We read picture books about food and cooking, tailored to the school lunch menu. It's a time that fills the children's hearts with excitement.
• World Cuisine: We'll talk about world cuisine, showing pictures and discussing different food cultures. This will be a time to pique the children's interest and curiosity.
• School lunch tasting event
Every October, the school holds a tasting event featuring popular school lunch menu items. A Halloween party is held at the same time. (Not held in 2020)

Regarding responses to emergencies
Responding to illness and injury
We will contact you if your child develops a fever, severe diarrhea or vomiting, or sustains an injury while on their way to school. If your child becomes suddenly ill or injured (excluding minor injuries), we will provide first aid at the school and then contact you. Please pick up your child as soon as possible. If it is difficult to pick up your child immediately, we may arrange for treatment by our school doctor or an emergency physician after consultation. If your child has a pre-existing condition or has a primary care physician, please be sure to inform the school in advance.
Response to earthquakes, fires, etc.
Our school conducts evacuation drills at least once a month. These drills simulate fire, earthquake, and sudden intrusion. In the event of an earthquake or fire, we prioritize the safety of your child and will quickly guide them to a safe location and evacuate them. After the evacuation and ensuring safety, we will contact parents as soon as possible.
Response to a major earthquake or disaster

PV International After School

It is important to talk with your family regularly. The designated evacuation site for the school is Hinode Elementary School, and in the event of a major disaster or tsunami, it will be Meikai University.
